Cabinet Experts Form New Organization

Addressing the cabinetry needs of the kitchen and bath industry, a group of cabinetry professionals have formed KBx, the first strategic partnership of experts in the field of cabinetry. KBx is a cooperative designed exclusively for the nation's most prominent cabinet dealer-distributors. Already, KBx member companies are located in 12 states and service over 30 major U.S. markets.

"We are all re-evaluating our businesses to adapt to the tremendous changes in the construction industry today," said Kathy Turner, managing director of KBx. "Recently, a group of significant players in the cabinet industry came together to address how to do business in this new marketplace. Overwhelmingly, the attendees agreed that a strong cooperative group of like-minded businesses could more effectively deal with the immediate challenges in the market."

According to Turner, KBx is planning a marketing campaign to generate awareness of the organization as well as products and service benefits available through KBx corporate and member companies. "We want to be known as the highest-quality cabinetwork provider in the industry," she said.
